#GivingTuesday — #UnSelfie
December 2, 2014 is a very busy day for social media. Facebook and Twitter are alive with posts about making a difference today. We are excited to celebrate this day of making a difference with all and hope everyone is out there celebrating also.
When thinking deeper, everyday here at the Humane Society of Elkhart County is a “Giving and UnSelfie” day. We have an amazing staff that works 7 days a week (including all holidays and bad weather emergency days) to take care of the animals that enter our shelter. Our animal control officers are on call around the clock and our volunteers are willing to help however they can at a moments notice! December 2 should be celebrated every year, it should also remind us to help and make a difference everyday of the year. There are plenty of ways to help through volunteer opportunities and donating needed items. Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to learn how to be an HSEC “UnSelfie”.
Take a moment and view our video showcasing our amazing staff, volunteers, supporters and adopters as they provide another “unselfie” and help make a difference everyday here at the Humane Society of Elkhart County. There are so many ways you can help out and make a difference here also.
