Celebrate Pets at Pet Fest!

A Day to Honor Your Pets and the Animals that Remain Homeless

Bristol, IN, 2015 – Join the Humane Society of Elkhart County as they celebrate the furry loved ones in your life at Pet Fest. The event, open to all pets and their people, will be held on Saturday, August 22 with games for kids and pets, a costume contest, training sessions and much more! Pet Fest will be held on National Homeless Animal Day as a way to honor the thousands of animals that enter animal shelters every year.

“Pets are family and we are proud to celebrate this day with our community and raise awareness of so many homeless animals still waiting for a family to call their own” said Janet Graham, Executive Assistant of the Humane Society of Elkhart County. “We celebrate the happy ‘tails’ we see daily and look forward to celebrating as more animals find their forever homes.”
