Eric Durcinka

Eric is the Executive Director for the Humane Society. His wide range of duties is what makes the shelter operational. Eric came to the shelter in July of 2006. He left behind his job as Executive Director for the St. Joseph County Humane Society and quickly took the challenge to Direct the Elkhart County Humane Society.

Eric has done nothing but wonderful things for the animals. He has not only increased adoptions, he's also increased our community awareness through marketing and media.

Eric has started many programs that are currently in progress to help those who are struggling with taking care of an animal. He's also started a program for kids to help awareness and a kids camp in the summer time.

The shelter made a complete turnaround when Eric came aboard and we are very thankful for having him here.
